Application Process

International Students

Step 1:

Explore courses that match your interests and career goals.

Step 2:

Review and verify academic entry requirements and English language requirements

Ensure you meet the prerequisites for your desired course.

NOTE: In order to enrol into a program at ECU Sri Lanka, an international student has to be over 18 years of age.
If you are over 23 years, and interested in following a Foundation program with us, please get in touch with our admissions team.

Step 3:

Locate a certified education agent in your country.

Agents can provide guidance on the application process, visa requirements, and accommodation options.

Step 4:

Gather necessary documents such as transcripts, certificates, and a valid passport (translated to English if applicable).

Prepare proof of English proficiency (e.g., IELTS, PTE, TOEFL scores etc).

Step 5:

Complete and submit your application through your education agent.

Step 6:

Pay an application fee of USD 50. Kindly note that this is non-refundable.

Keep a record of the payment confirmation.

Step 7:

Allow time for the admissions team to review your application. If the application is successful, you will receive an offer which you can choose to accept.

Step 8:

Pay the relevant tuition fees along with the additional expenses which will cover Visa, Student Health Cover and Accommodation.

Step 9:

Upon receiving the confirmation from the ECU Sri Lanka admissions team, visit the relevant Sri Lankan consulate to get the Entry Visa stamped

Step 10:

Finalise arrival dates and book flight to arrive in time for orientation.

Step 11:

Participate in orientation to get acquainted with the campus and meet the ECU Sri Lanka team and students.

Step 12:

Start your Studies.
