The Student Health Cover provides health insurance for international students during their stay in Sri Lanka. Premiums will apply according to the length of the visa.
The health cover will minimise the medical expenses incurred while in Sri Lanka. The payment required for the health cover will be notified to you in advance and will be applicable for one year, which needs to be renewed annually to cover the full duration of your student visa.

ECU Sri Lanka requires all students to maintain Student Health Cover as a mandatory condition for the entire duration of their studies in Sri Lanka. Failure to maintain this will result in incurring additional medical expenses which will not be facilitated by ECU Sri Lanka.
You will be informed in advance about the student health insurance, which must be purchased before entering the country. ECU Sri Lanka will assist you in obtaining this insurance. The initial payment will cover one year, with annual renewals thereafter.
