Value

The scholarship scheme offers a 30% reduction in tuition fees for ECU units undertaken in the first three trimesters of study (Year 1) at ECU’s campus in Colombo, Sri Lanka for new enrolments.

Eligibility

• Applicable for Year 01 students – new enrolments.
• Applicants must be prospective students who receive an offer to commence study at ECU’s Campus in Colombo, Sri Lanka and select an ECU undergraduate degree.
• Applicable for domestic students (Sri Lankan citizens) only.
• Not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship.
• Have been issued an offer to commence study in Year 1 of the selected undergraduate programs in 2023.
• Meet ECU’s academic and English language entry requirements for the select course and any other applicable admission requirements imposed by ECU’s statutes, by-laws, rules and policies and procedures.

Conditions

• The scholarship discount can only be used for tuition fees in the first three trimesters of the Course, to a maximum of 8 units, and cannot be used for any other student expense.
• The scholarship cannot be transferred to any other ECU location, ACBT or any other partner organisation, or to another university or education provider.
• The scholarship can be revoked if the recipient does not accept their Letter of Offer or enrol in their course by the date specified.
• The commencement of the scholarship cannot be deferred.

Value

The scholarship scheme offers a 15% reduction in tuition fees for new enrolments to the Bachelor of Science (Nursing Studies) units undertaken in the three trimesters of study (Year 3) at ECU’s campus in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Eligibility

• This specialised scheme is being offered to new enrolments of the Bachelor of Science (Nursing Studies) program and applicable for the three trimesters of Year 3
• Applicants must be prospective students who receive an offer to commence study at ECU’s Campus in Colombo, Sri Lanka and select an ECU undergraduate degree
• Applicable for domestic students (Sri Lankan citizens) only.
• not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship;
• have been issued an offer to commence study in Year 3 of the Bachelor of Science (Nursing Studies) program; and
• meet ECU’s academic and English language entry requirements for the select course and any other applicable admission requirements imposed by ECU’s statutes, by-laws, rules and policies and procedures.

Ordinary Level:

High achievers of local and foreign* Ordinary Level qualifications where students have passed all subjects with three “A”s or more, will receive a 30% reduction in tuition fees for the University Foundation units undertaken in the first trimester of study at ECU Sri Lanka Campus.

Advanced Level:

High achievers of local and foreign* Advanced Level qualifications where students have passed all subjects with one “A” or more, will receive a 30% reduction in tuition fees for the Diploma units undertaken in the first trimester of study at ECU, Sri Lanka Campus.

*Foreign qualifications will be assessed as equivalent high achievers on a case by case basis by ECU Sri Lanka Campus Admissions Manager.

• Applicants must be prospective students who receive an offer to commence study at ECU’s Campus in Colombo, Sri Lanka and select a University Foundation or Diploma program.
• Not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen.
• Not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship.
• Meet academic and English language entry requirements for the select course and any other applicable admission requirements imposed by ECU Sri Lanka Campus policies and procedures.

The scholarship program is designed to attract high achievers from the field of sports.

The scholarship offers a 10% reduction in tuition fees for units undertaken in University Foundation and Diploma programs taken at the ECU Sri Lanka campus.

Eligibility

• Students who were appointed as captains of sports will be eligible (within the last 5 years).
• Applicants must be prospective students who receive an offer to commence study at ECU’s Campus in Colombo, Sri Lanka and select an ECU undergraduate degree.
• Not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen.
• Not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship.
• Have been issued an offer to commence study in Year 1 of the selected undergraduate programs in 2023.
• Meet ECU’s academic and English language entry requirements for the select course and any other applicable admission requirements imposed by ECU’s statutes, by-laws, rules and policies and procedures.

• Applicable for students who has achieved a sporting or civil award/merits in the national level (within the last 5 years).

• Not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen.
• Not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship.

Eligibility

• Relevant, family member needs to have an active (current) enrolment in the relevant study period
• Applicants must be prospective students who receive an offer to commence study at ECU Sri Lanka Campus and select a University Foundation or Diploma program.
• Not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen.
• Not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship.

Value

Students who have completed the University Foundation Program at ECU Sri Lanka campus with outstanding grades (Average of > 85% with> 75% for each unit) are eligible for a 30 % tuition fee waiver scholarship in the first trimester of the Diploma Program.

• Applicants must be prospective students who receive an offer to commence study at ECU Sri Lanka and select a University Foundation or Diploma program
